At SaLT: Service and Learning Together, we believe in the power of community and the positive impact we can make when we join together to support those in need.

SaLT’s “Take Care” Package initiative was originally designed to assist migrant families arriving in Chicagoland; however, this initiative has since evolved to meet broader needs.

Currently, we are focusing on supporting the firefighters in California bravely battling the devastating wildfires.

Each “Take Care” Package is filled with self-care items and, most importantly, heartfelt notes of appreciation and encouragement. These packages send a powerful message of support and solidarity, reminding recipients they are not alone in their challenges.

Please join SaLT in this effort by:

• Writing notes of compassion and support to include in the packages.

• Donating items or money to help us provide the packages.
